Requests and FAQ
Obviously with a congregation the size of Mud Creek Baptist Church, there are numerous requests that are made of the Music and Worship Ministry weekly. Because of the enormous amount of requests, we have established some guidelines that will be helpful to our staff in the music and worship ministry to process these requests.
You may have a song that you enjoy, recorded by a professional artist, and you would like for Chris Roberts to listen to it . . .
You may submit a non-returnable copy of the selection on compact disc to the music and worship ministry office and we will try to listen to it in the near future. Because of the large quantity of music made available to our office each year, it is not possible to accept any material that would need to be returned. Chris does receive gifts of recorded music throughout the year and these are greatly appreciated.
You are a member or a regular attendee and you would like to sing in one of our worship services . . .
Those who present “special music” are members of our choir and orchestra family. We encourage your participation in one of these fine musical organizations. There is also a four month rotation for those who are presenting special music in services.
You have a musical group that you would like to have perform in worship at Mud Creek Baptist Church . . .
There are requests made weekly by church members, booking agents, and artists from across the country to appear at Mud Creek Church. Because of the tight schedule that our worship services maintain, it is only possible to host select group throughout the year on a limited basis. We will be happy to know of your requests, but please realize that the window of opportunity to host a guest artist is very limited. We also tend to reserve these opportunities for professional artists who are involved in a full-time ministry capacity.
