Commitment to Evangelism:
At Mud Creek Baptist Church, we believe that God has called the church to communicate the message of Christ throughout the world. Acts 1:8 gives us the strategy for taking the Gospel to the world. Evangelism begins at home. Over the past 28 years Dr. Mathis has lived out a commitment to the Gospel. He has preached the message of Christ, shared it personally, and trained hundreds of others to be personal witnesses to the world. Mud Creek has grown during Dr. Mathis' ministry because he has faithfully led our church to proclaim the simple message of Jesus Christ consistently in every area of our church's ministry. Each of our ministries emphasize the priority of evangelism and seek to reach the unchurched through a variety of ministry events, programs, and personal relationships. Personal evangelism has been and is the heartbeat of the New Testament church. We encourage every follower of Jesus Christ to share with others how they can enter into a personal relationship with God that will lead them to become a sincere follower of Jesus. We offer training for those who want to grow in their understanding and ability to share the Gospel.
